Evans here. So, I’ve had this incredible youth minister, Tom, at my church for the last five years. Graduated recently, but I fear I might’ve just messed up our friendship for good.

When Tom first joined our church, he brought along his wife, Susan. Let me tell you, she’s something else. Kind-hearted, genuine, and just radiates warmth. It’s hard not to have a bit of a crush on her. And, well, she’s stunning. Tall, with long black hair, hazel eyes, and a figure that turns heads. Even after two kids, she’s kept herself in amazing shape. Now, I was in a relationship with a girl named Faith, who oddly resembled Susan in some ways, albeit with smaller proportions. Turns out, Faith was Susan’s niece.

Anyway, fast forward to a couple of days ago. Tom’s out of town with the kids for some quality family time. Susan calls me over to help with some stuff she’s cleaning out. Door slightly ajar, a sign I’m welcome in, so I step in. As I make my way through the house, I end up in their bedroom.

“Hey, Evans, how are you?” Susan greets me with a smile.

“I’m alright. Where’s all the stuff?” I ask.

“It’s kind of scattered. Let me show you… Oh, hang on,” she bends over to pick something up, and, well, I got a bit distracted by her… uh, let’s just say her assets.

She catches me staring and chuckles, “Caught you looking. Anyway, it’s not much, but it’s too heavy for me. Here they are,” she points me to the pile, and I start moving them out.

“Hey,” she calls out, “I’m gonna hop in the shower. Spaghetti’s in the kitchen.”

“I’ll keep an eye out,” I reply. But as I’m moving stuff, my mind starts wandering to thoughts I really shouldn’t be having about Susan. I mean, she’s married to my pastor, for crying out loud.

I finish up outside and head back in. Susan’s probably done with her shower by now, and the images in my head aren’t helping. But I push them away. She’s a mother, my girlfriend’s aunt, and my pastor’s wife. I shouldn’t even be entertaining these thoughts.

I come back in, and Susan’s dressed in a sleeveless top and shorts, asking me to grab the plates. As I reach over her, trying to be helpful, things get a bit awkward. My mind’s still stuck on those inappropriate thoughts, and… well, let’s just say it was a close call.
