Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale is mourning the sudden death of his wife, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, who reportedly collapsed and died on Saturday morning after suffering a suspected heart attack.
The devastated senator confirmed the heartbreaking news in a public statement, describing her death as sudden and unexpected.
“My dear wife, Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale, has this morning suddenly collapsed and died after a heart attack,” Khalwale said.
Gloria Sekeiyan was the mother of eight of Khalwale’s children and a cherished member of the family’s large household. The senator did not indicate whether she had been battling any underlying illness before her sudden passing.
