The popular TikToker was taken into custody in Nakuru and then transported to Nairobi, where he was detained at the Wilson Airport Police Station.

In a video clip shared by SPM Buzz, Brian can be seen getting out of a vehicle and entering the police station, where he engaged in a conversation with the officers. This arrest came just a day after Brian claimed he had been physically assaulted by unknown individuals.

In the video, Brian can be heard talking on the phone, explaining that he had insulted Azziad, who then reported the matter to the police. He requested the person on the other end of the call to speak to the officers and help him out.

To shed more light on the situation, Mungai Eve conducted an interview with Gertrude, the lawyer representing Azziad. Gertrude expressed her team’s dissatisfaction with the situation. According to the lawyer, Brian had gone live on TikTok the previous week, and during the livestream, he made defamatory statements about Azziad. He even went so far as to give out her phone number, leading to a barrage of calls and messages, some of which were insulting. Naturally, Azziad was deeply upset by this.

Gertrude referred to the Computer Misuse and Cyber Crime Act, which likely forms the basis of the legal action being taken against Brian for his actions on social media.
