Nameless and Wahu Celebrate 21st Wedding Anniversary in Mombasa with Family

Kenyan music power couple Nameless and Wahu marked 21 years of marriage on 10 September 2026, flying their family to Mombasa for a celebratory coastal getaway.

A Family Trip to the Coast

Nameless, born David Mathenge, shared updates online as the family arrived on the Kenyan coast. He praised Skyward Express for their flight and thanked Sarova Whitesands for the warm reception, where hotel staff greeted the family with special welcome music.

“We came to celebrate in our favorite vacation destination! Mombasa Raha!” Nameless wrote, confirming that the coastal city remains the family’s top holiday spot.

A Heartfelt Message to Wahu

In a tribute to his wife, Rosemary Wahu Kagwi, Nameless reflected on their journey together and their three daughters.

“Today we celebrate 21 years since we said ‘I Do!’ by the lake, with family and friends all wishing us well,” he wrote.

“It’s been a ride and a half and I can’t help but be grateful for the beautiful years and moments we have shared together!”

He closed with a direct message to Wahu: “3 beautiful gals later 😊, Happy anniversary babe! You still the one!”

From Campus to Lake Naivasha

The couple’s love story began at the University of Nairobi, where Nameless studied architecture and Wahu studied mathematics. They dated for nearly eight years before tying the knot on 10 September 2005 at the Lake Naivasha Country Club.

Their African-themed wedding saw Wahu arrive by boat across the lake to meet her groom, with family, friends, and fellow musicians in attendance.

One of Kenya’s Most Enduring Celebrity Marriages

Over two decades, Nameless and Wahu have built a lasting legacy in East African music while raising their daughters — Tumiso, Nyakio, and Shiru. Their Mombasa trip marks yet another milestone in one of Kenya’s most beloved celebrity unions.
