US-based Kenyan content creator Isaiah, popularly known online as Baba Jimmy, and his wife Judith are mourning the painful loss of their unborn child.
The couple, who relocated to the United States in 2024 alongside their children Jimmy and Cynthia, shared the heartbreaking news through emotional social media posts that touched many of their followers.
In a sorrowful video recorded inside a hospital room, Baba Jimmy showed Mama Jimmy lying quietly on a hospital bed as he revealed the devastating tragedy to fans.
“It’s so heartbreaking. We have lost our child,” Baba Jimmy wrote in the emotional post.
Mama Jimmy also opened up about the physical and emotional pain she was going through following the loss of the pregnancy.
“I’m having a lot of pain; my unexpected child is gone,” she shared.
The heartbreaking revelation sparked an outpouring of sympathy from fans and fellow content creators who flooded the couple’s social media pages with messages of comfort and prayers.
The tragedy also brought back memories of a previous emotional confession by Mama Jimmy about losing her first pregnancy shortly after getting married to Baba Jimmy at a young age.
In a past interview, the soft-spoken TikToker explained that she conceived just one month after their marriage when the two were still teenagers trying to adjust to family life.
“People usually expect to enjoy marriage first, but for Baba Jimmy and me, I got pregnant immediately,” she recalled.
Mama Jimmy revealed that the pregnancy became physically exhausting and emotionally overwhelming before she later suffered a miscarriage after five months.
“I got pregnant in December and miscarried in April. I had suffered terribly, even eating was a problem,” she said.
Baba Jimmy had previously shared details about their love story, revealing that he and Mama Jimmy tied the knot at the age of 18 after years of knowing each other since their early teenage years.
According to the gospel artiste and missionary, the two first met at the age of 14 after Mama Jimmy’s brother introduced them.
“We met when we were young, just 14 years old. It’s her brother who introduced us,” Baba Jimmy once shared.
He explained that by the time he proposed, Mama Jimmy had already dropped out of school, adding that he spent several months praying before deciding to marry her.
“I prayed for around four months before actualising the proposal,” he revealed.
The couple later held a church wedding attended by both families, although they delayed obtaining an official marriage certificate due to reported errors in Mama Jimmy’s identification details.
“Despite not having a certificate then, our marriage was still valid before God,” Baba Jimmy explained.
Over the years, Baba Jimmy and Mama Jimmy have built a strong online following through family-focused content, gospel messages, and motivational videos documenting their life journey and marriage experiences.
Their latest loss has now left many supporters sending prayers and encouragement as the couple navigates one of the most painful moments in their family life.
