Cautionary Notice for Unemployed Educators
The Kenyan government has issued a significant notice to teachers who are currently seeking positions in the ongoing recruitment process, as reported by a reliable source.
Recently, credible information has surfaced online, indicating that prospective teachers in the current Teachers Service Commission (TSC) hiring procedure might undergo testing for alcohol consumption during their interviews. Should a candidate test positive, regrettably, they will face immediate disqualification from consideration for employment.
Recognizing the pivotal role that teachers play, educational institutions are taking steps to thoroughly examine the backgrounds of potential educators.
For those aspiring to teach, the initial inquiry they may encounter could pertain to their alcohol consumption. I am Farouk Said.
Alert to Aspiring Teachers from TSC
Regrettably, individuals who are grappling with alcohol addiction and also seeking employment will find that the government has resolved that they are ineligible to participate in the TSC recruitment campaign.
