New Attorney General Nominated by Ruto

Dorcas Oduor’s nomination as Attorney General stands out, as she would be the first woman to hold this prestigious position in Kenyan history, pending parliamentary approval.

Oduor brings over thirty years of experience in the public sector, including her role as Secretary of Public Prosecutions at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP). With a robust legal background, she holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a Master of Arts in International Conflict Management from the University of Nairobi.
