President Ruto highlighted that 1,000 Kenyans leave the country weekly for job opportunities abroad, underscoring the importance of a swift and efficient passport issuance system.
The Ministry of Interior’s earlier announcement in May 2024 that Kenya has the capacity to print 10,000 passports daily, against a demand of 5,000, supports this expedited service.
