Reverend Kathy Kiuna’s Official Statement on Bishop Allan Kiuna’s Death

The Jubilee Christian Church (JCC) is mourning the loss of its founder, Bishop Allan Kiuna, who passed away on Tuesday, July 10, at the age of 57. In a heartfelt press statement shared by his wife, Cathy Kiuna, the church praised Bishop Kiuna as an extraordinary man dedicated to ministering and touching countless lives with his faith, compassion, and dedication.

JCC expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and love from their church community and announced a series of memorial services to honor Bishop Kiuna’s life and legacy. The services are scheduled as follows:

  • Wednesday, July 10 to Friday, July 12, 2024: Evening services at JCC Parklands from 5 pm to 7:30 pm.
  • Saturday, July 13, 2024: Memorial service from 2 am to 5 am.
  • Sunday, July 14, 2024: Special worship service starting at 9 am.

The church also requested privacy during this challenging time of mourning and reflection, asking everyone to respect the family’s need for space and quiet.

Bishop Kiuna’s passing occurred while he was receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital, where he had been rushed after his condition worsened. His body has since been transferred to Lee Funeral Home. The JCC community and supporters are invited to join in praying for the family and the church as they navigate this difficult period.
