Which man, on earth or in heaven, gay or straight, wouldn’t wish to be in a room full of women?
Women that are ready to spread legs apart and bring life to this earth. The doctors at Maua
denied us access to see our daughter Betty. In their words, she was in a critical condition at ICU
( Hio C stands for Conrad). They requested us to come the next day. The most tragic part of it
all is, she was among the 5 survivors from the crush. On our way out I got a call from CI Matildah. (CI is abbreviation for Chief inspector or Conrads inspector: whichever you like). ‘Wee my dear nakuja Echo Papa nikupate wapi?’ she requested
.‘Eko Papa ni nini? I asked. “Oh pole Embakasi police” she corrected. ‘Siko karibu home ntarudi jioni’ I answered. She told me she will inform me if she will be around at that time. Since the doctors had requested us to visit the following day, we opted to spend the night in Meru. We slept in cam flames Guest house in Meru town. We booked room 114 and left for supper. After supper we went back and showered together as was goals: showering together till death do us part. After the shower we dried ourselves with the towel Rita had carried. Wanawake wanajua kujipanga my friend if I were alone ninge jipanguza nanguo zangu chafu,,,. She then wore my boxers covered herself with a leso and jumped on the coach. If you are a married woman, try wearing ur husbands boxers. It’s so sexy, bora asikue
mwanamme round. Rita looked very sexy in my white boxers..Since it was still early we resorted
to watching news. I don’t know if it’s in Cam guest house alone or the entire of Meru, but the
only channel that was showing is citizen TV. We sat on the coach in our room, and watched the
boring soaps. Before the 9PM news, a KCB advert ran. If you know the ‘Weka weka advert’ with
a man is dancing. Rita joked if I was ready kuweka weka…we laughed. Her bulging belly made
her extremely cute. ’I had missed you so much Dad. Hope leo utanieka eka’. She repeated. I will
not tell you what my response was. We slept.
The next morning we drove to Nkubu mission hospital. Had I known the kind of information awaiting us, I could have l proceeded alone. That day, Monday 14th remains one of my darkest days. Beatrice was no more. The news of her death shocked Rita and she collapsed at the OPD section. We resuscitated her and I let her rest in our car. I went to the morgue to confirm and true Betty had passed on. The severe penetrating head injury had led to intracranial haermorrhage that led to her death. I felt hurt losing my niece. I felt sad losing such a young promising girl. The memories of our first night with her flushed in my mind: that night when we sang the hymns and read the Bible together. I remembered our threesome experience, her techniques and more so the promise she was to visit during the holidays. The memories made me angrier.
Rita was still gloomy when I entered inside the car. After consultation we agreed not to inform
Ritas aunt of the passing of Betty. I am assuming you remember she was critically ill. Rita
however, shared the information with her younger sister Eve,her two brothers and few other
relatives. The death of Betty had affected Rita so much. As a man of the house, I couldn’t sit
