Security CS Fred Matiang’i has affirmed that Saturday, October 10 will be a public occasion named Huduma Day.
The CS in an announcement dated Thursday, October 8, expressed that the day will be seen through public supplications that will feature administration and volunteerism to the network.
“Kenyans are urged to take an interest in the supplications and advance public solidarity, social equity, union and reasonable improvement in their networks to help present and people in the future,” Matiang’i expressed.
President Uhuru Kenyatta on Thursday, December 19, 2019, respected previous head of state Mzee Moi’s exceptional solicitation.
Through a bureau meeting he led, the president affirmed the renaming of Moi Day which falls on October 10, as Huduma Day.
The change was in accordance with previous President Daniel Arap Moi’s longing that the day be recognized as a day of administration and volunteerism.
On Wednesday, October 7, President Uhuru Kenyatta reported a public few days of petition.
President Kenyatta committed Friday, October 9 to October 11, 2020, during which Kenyans are urged to appeal to God for the nation.
